postheadericon It's Here - My 3 In 30 -

It's time to dig deep and make my list of things I want to accomplish this coming year. Instead of being overwhelmed by lots of resolutions, I'm taking it 3 at a time. That's 3 In 30. What is 3 In 30?

My January Goals:

1. Lose 8 pounds (thats around 2 pounds per week)

2. Stick with Project 365 and take one picture every day for the year.
So, this month, I need to follow through with just that in beginning.

3. Write 12 encouraging notes to my husband
(with 12 different traits I love about him). This month, I'll write the first one.

The first link up will be Friday, January 7th. We'll be sharing our lists of what we want to accomplish this month. So, won't you join in and encourage yourself and eachother in accomplishing just 3 things this month that you have on your list of things to do?

postheadericon Giveaway: Tommy Nelson Read & Share Bible

Another awesome resource from Tommy Nelson!

My 4 year old was in desperate need of a new bible and this came at the perfect time. He had outgrown his Toddler bible and we were looking for one a little more age appropriate. The Read & Share Bible is perfect for all kids!

I love that Tommy Nelson provides such awesome resources for our children. Their resources make great gifts for others or to add to your collection. Whether you're buying (or entering a giveaway) for a younger child or older, there is something for everyone!

J has asked to read a story or two every night before bed from his Read & Share Bible. We have been covering the days of Creation during school, and the way this bible explained it, was a great aide.

A description from the Tommy Nelson website:

"It is big and bright with lots of page-turning learning about the Word of God.
The Read and Share Bible is unique in its format and solid in Bible teaching. Packed with 200 stories that are simple re-tellings, the gigantic message of God's love and care is sure to win the hearts of little ones and give them a strong Bible foundation to guide their lives.  With over 400 pieces of art, this Bible Storybook is highly interactive as it encourages Scripture Memory and reinforces comprehension with quick activities for you and your children.
Stories include Noah, David, Joseph, Abraham, Paul, and Christ as well as many other timeless Biblical characters and lessons."

So, now you have a chance to win this bible. This giveaway will last from 12/30/10 until 01/03/11 at 6pm CST. The winner will be announced on this website after 6pm CST on the 16th. I then will email the winner with the details on how to pick up their book.

Who wants a whole new blog makeover? One lucky winner will receive "Package A" valued at $45 for a blog makeover. Details below.

Let's get to know Tracey:

I have been doing graphic design for just shy of 2 years now.  I got into it first as a hobby, (learning from my younger brother who is an amazing graphic artist) designing my own blog which I change every month.  I get such a charge out of planning it and then seeing it come to life.  I try to outdo myself each time.  Eventually, my designs got noticed by friends and followers who asked if I designed for others.  So, with some trial and error, I think I've gotten quite good at it.  I still have a lot to learn, but I'm enjoying it every step of the way!

So, how do you win?

REQUIRED ENTRY:

Let us know why you'd like a new blog makeover
and what colors you would use.

EXTRA ENTRIES:

Follow Little Bitty Blog Designs onTwitter

"Like" Little Bitty Designs on Facebook

Follow me on Twitter

postheadericon What Are You Giving For Christmas?

So many are asking "What are you getting or wanting for Christmas?" Why don't we ask "What are you giving for Christmas?" The world seems to want, want, want and not put an emphasis on giving. This Christmas season, we are really trying hard to teach our children (especially our 4, almost 5 year old) about the real meaning of Christmas and how important it is to give to others and not just receive.

Are you looking for some last minute gifts {to give}? Here are a few gifts that would really make a difference to someone. There are tons out there but these are just a few of my favorites...
