Snowed In...

Well, not technically but I love what Anne Marie over at Household 6 Diva is doing.

We all know that Blissdom is this week and so many blogger who I know and love are in my backyard (I live in Nashville, and that is where Blissdom is held). I so wanted to try to attend but the fine details (like babysitters) couldn't get worked out. So, while I'm sad I'm not squeezing all those lovely ladies neck's, I'm excited to be here and Snowed In.

A little about myself..

I am a Christian, Homeschooling Mom of 2. Photography Lover, Southerner, Country Music Lovin', and a Sweet Tea Drinkin' kinda gal. I am a blogger, encourager, and prayer warrior. I love meeting new people and have been told I'm an organization freak. Schedules and Lists make me feel content as well as Rubbermaid Bins.

I have been blogging for less than two years. When I first started, I created a blog for our family who lives all over the world to keep up on our life. Well, shortly after that, I got inspired by these women to really dig into the heart of blogging.

And since then, it's been something I can't get enough of.

So, here I am, almost two years later, enjoying and getting to meet SO many new people through blogs. Who knew the "blogosphere" could bring forth so many friendships? I just love it.

On that note, I'm grabbing some hot chocolate and taking some time this afternoon to enjoy getting to know each of you who have linked up through Snowed In.

A Breakfast Invitation - For YOU!

Is the Old Timers Breakfast your favorite? Maybe the Mama's Pancake Breakfast is more your style. Whatever it is, I want to hear it....I want to hear you order. Yep, I want to have breakfast with YOU!

If you're going to Blissdom in just a couple of weeks, I want to meet you for breakfast! I am not going to be able to be at the conference but definitely want to meet up with all my favorites, and that means you!

So, it's on - Mark your calendars for January 29th, 2011 at 9:00 AM and lets play some checkers, peg game, and have breakfast at a southerner's favorite - Cracker Barrel. It is located just across the street from the Opryland Hotel, so it will be so convenient for all you Blissdom go-ers. The address is: 2406 Music Valley Drive; Nashville, TN 37214

Why?

When I've mentioned to my family that I'd love to attend a blog conference, their first question is "Why?" My reasons obviously are "To learn more about blogging". But it goes deeper than that. So, I've taken a few days to reflect on why I'd like to go to Blissdom at the Opryland Hotel on January 26-28, 2011.

To learn more about blogging (that's a given!)
I enjoy administrative stuff online, so I'd love to be more geeky (than I already am! haha!)
It's in my town, so why not? It's so close! And would be great for my 1st conference.
One of the founders attends my church.
Get more "meaty" about blogging - I enjoy what I'm doing now but would LOVE to take it to the next level. Exciting!
See the people I've created friendships with online and finally meet in person.
A weekend away from the everyday hustle and bustle of life.
To help spread the word more about companies that I love.

I've heard so many amazing things about Blissdom. I would love for this conference to be my first. Alli Worthington attends my church (on a different campus location) and we've never met. I'd LOVE to see what all she does in person. She's a hero of mine - how does she do it all? Another awesome friend who has helped me so much in learning about blog conferences is The Unexperienced Mom. She is so talented and keeps up with all the info for every blog conference there is. Simply amazing.

All this to say, I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE to attend Blissdom and would love to win the One2One Network contest. Thank you for having this contest and sending several to this amazing event.

It's that time...time to look for sponsorships to go to the Blissdom Conference here in Nashville, TN.

I am a social media geek and know there is SO much more to learn and just thinking about that excites me. Recently I've felt it's time to take my blog to the next level. I have many ideas but know Blissdom would offer so much more help in making those dreams and ideas come to real life. There are so many great opportunities at Blissdom to network and learn more about the blogging world. I love promoting and helping businesses and products I know, love, and believe in.

I've created a few options to give you more of an idea of what type of sponsorship I'm looking for. My blog is all about being a family and different aspects of family, so if you're wondering about the package names, thats where I came up with them. :)

*Gold Sponsorship* $525

A post introducing you as a sponsor on my site once arrangements have been made.
4 additional posts regarding you as my sponsor. (two before, one during, and one after the conference)
Adspace in my posts with your link inserted three times per month for 7 months.
Mentioning you on Facebook and Twitter (both which I'm very active on) before, during and 6 months after the conference.
I will "model" your company's products, logo, etc during the conference. I'd also love to hand out any of your products you would provide me with. (Promotional options available at conference depending on product)
Your logo will be placed on my business card for the conference.
Your banner/button on my site for 7 months. It will be above the fold. (Available sizes: 468X60, 160X600)

*Silver Sponsorship* $350

A post introducing you as a sponsor on my site once arrangements have been made.
A post thanking you for your sponsorship after the conference.
Your banner/button on my site for 5 months. It will be above the fold. (Available sizes: 150X150)
Advertising you in my posts with your link inserted one times per month for 5 months.
Mentioning you on Facebook and Twitter (both which I'm very active on) before, during, and immediately upon returning from the conference.

*Bronze Sponsorship* $175

A post introducing you as a sponsor on my site once arrangements have been made.
A post thanking you for sponsoring me after the conference.
Advertising you in my posts with your link inserted one time per month for 3 months.
Mentioning you on Facebook and Twitter (both which I'm very active on) before, during, and immediately upon returning from the conference.
Your logo will be placed on my business card for the conference.
Your banner/button on my site for 3 months. (Available sizes: 125X125)

*Iron Sponsorship* $75

Your banner/button on my site for 2 months (Available sizes: 125X125)
A post introducing you as a sponsor on my site once arrangements have been made.
Advertising you in my posts with your link inserted one time per month for 2 months.
Mentioning you on Facebook and Twitter (both which I'm very active on) before, during, and immediately upon returning from the conference.

These are all just ideas and I'm willing to tweak it to where it works out for both parties. I live in Nashville, TN and Blissdom will be held only 30 minutes from my home. If I receive more interest for sponsorships than what it will take to cover me to attend, I have several recommendations for friends who would love to be sponsored. We could talk about that and maybe involve them as well in our decision making if you'd like to sponsor two. All that to say, I'm flexible and so excited to work with you.
