Mr. Deal Finder Site Review
When Mr. Deal Finder contacted me about doing a review, I got really excited. I love reviewing sites, especially coupon code sites.
About Mr. Deal Finder:
The goal of Mr Deal Finder is to be a FREE, easy to use database of deals, online coupons and promo or coupon codes. No sign up required, just click and save! With more and more stores being added every day, hopefully you will find a great online deal from your favorite retailer. MrDealFinder.com is run by Karen (aka @MrsDealFinder), if you have any questions or comments send her a tweet or two! :)
Mr. Deal Finder is an easy to use frugal/coupon code website. Some of my favorite features are Today's Hot Online Coupon & Deals (with coupon codes), the Grocery Coupon section (b/c everyone needs coupons when they go grocery shopping), Submit A Deal (for those who have a coupon code or deal that want to share) and the How To Save With Coupon Codes video.
Want to stay connected with Mr. Deal Finder? Become a fan of his on Facebook or follow on Twitter
I know so many blogs these days have the theme of saving money and finding the best way to be frugal. Mr. Deal Finder has one of the better sites I've seen. It's clean, organized, not cluttered, and has lots of great info on saving money as well as continuing to be frugal. I will take advantage of looking at the Daily deals and coupon code section and definitely will be using it to find great deals.
Don't forget to sign up for the newsletter at Mr. Deal Finder The only thing I see missing on this site is a button to place on the site for people to grab. It's a great way to share the goodness of a blog/website! I look forward to placing it on my blog when one is created.
I enjoyed reviewing and getting to know this site better. I'm sure you will as well! Happy Couponing!

DVD Awesomeness: 2 Great Deals!
My friend Micael, at Saving Obsession always finds and comes up with the best deals!
I managed to score a last minute deal on my copies (plus Princess and the Frog, but I'll post about that later)
Disney wants to reward you with upgrading to the new dvd/Blu Ray combo backs with $10 off EACH movie!
All you have to do is go to Disney Movie Rewards and enter the UPC code from each of your movies to get the coupons. Many stores are having sales, so at $10 off a piece, you should be able to score a good deal!
Anyway, the deal of the week this week is amazing! There are two DVD deals you wont want to miss.
(1) Now listen. If you've been following my blog for a little while, you may know my little secret: I love Disney. It seems March has been filled with Disney goodness for me (getting 3 new dvds before they went back into the vault, getting Ponyo on my birthday, going to Disney World, and now this)! Ok, enough of that. I know you want to know what in the world DVD Awesomeness is about. Well here you go!
I saw this post on IHeartSavingMoney for a dvd deal. Basically I followed it, and here's how it worked out for me!
On Monday night I went to Toys R Us and did the following:
Got Princess and the Frog dvd (Blu Ray combo was sold out*) - $19.99
Pre-ordered Toy Story 1 dvd/Blu Ray combo - $5.00 (deposit)
Pre-ordered Toy Story 2 dvd/Blu Ray combo - $5.00 (deposit)
Total before discounts = $29.99 + tax
-Received $15 off any Disney Princess movie instantly when pre-ordering both TS dvds.
-Had a $15 gift card from birthday
Total OOP after discounts = $0.64
*I was thrown off because the PATF combo packs were sold out, so I couldn't use my $10 off PATF coupon. This is resolved later....
Today I went to pick up my TS dvds. (And by I, I mean 'we' since I was hanging out with a friend and she was doing the same deal.)
Toy Story 1 - $29.99
Toy Story 2 - $29.99
Total before discounts - $59.98
-Received $26.00 discount for buying both TS1 and TS2 at the same time (making them just $16.99 each)
-$10 credit (for deposits when pre-ordering)
-Used $10 off TS1 coupon
-Used $10 off TS2 coupon
Total OOP after discounts - $3.98 + tax
Now here is the messy part:
When I bought PATF because the combo pack was sold out, I couldn't use my coupon. I did have a $5 off the regular dvd for PATF. So I brought that in with my receipt and they gave me $5 cash back. They also did not give me my free Princess jewelry box for purchasing a Princess movie, so I got one today. There was a small snafu that's too much to blog about, but long story short, I have a $10 gift card to Toys R Us.
Added bonuses:
Each TS dvd pack comes with a ticket to see TS3 for free!
I will also be able to send in for each of these PATF rebates:
-$5 off for purchasing PATF plus 2 Band Aid products
-$5 off for purchasing PATF plus 2 Success Rice products
Final Round Up:
I got Princess and the Frog dvd, Toy Story 1 dvd/Blu Ray combo pack, Toy Story 2 dvd/Blu Ray combo pack, a Princess jewelry box, 2 movie tickets, a $10 gift card, $5 cash back and I'll receive $10 total in rebates.
Overall value: $124.96
OOP: $0!!!!!!
Now tell me why it is people say couponing isn't worth the time??
