A New Look
We've decided to go with a new look for our house. We have been wanting to change the color for quite some time and finally decided on a color that we loved. Everytime we walk in Restoration Hardware, we love their colors so thats what we decided to go with. We used Silver Sage for the bedrooms and Bay Laurel for the kitchen and bathrooms.
In the midst of trying to find a painter for a reasonable price, Joe mentioned maybe flying in his grandfather to help paint. It would be some good bonding time for him, plus we dont get to see him that much so he'd love to see the kids as well. Well, less than 48 hours later, Grin was here and they were ready to work! I was told to head to my mom's so we could be out of the way for a few days, so thats what we did. We came home Sunday night to find a beautiful, fresh, new house. Here are the before and after pictures of Joe and Grin's project.

Then, Monday was Grin's birthday! What a man for 82 years old, wouldn't ya say? I hope I can be half as in shape as he is at 82! Jackson loved helping Grin blow out his birthday candle at Old Spaghetti Factory. We were so glad we could be with him on his special day!

I miss my sweet grandpa! I am so glad that you all were able to celebrate Grin's special day with him. The new paint looks beautiful. Good job guys!
