Tornado Hits Middle Tennessee
We always think "Oh, that couldn't happen to us or it definitely won't happen to us." Well, today, my eyes were completely open to the idea and fact that it CAN happen to anyone and to always be prepared and live your life knowing the end can come so quickly.
Yesterday, 4/10/09, middle Tennessee had several tornados come blasting through. Murfreesboro (where I was born, and have family and grandparents who live there) got it the worst.
Today we went out and looked around at the damage. I had never seen tornado aftermath before. WOW! So extremely sad. There were 2 deaths and many injuries. However, the two that died were a mother and her 9 week old daughter. This story is so sad. Here is the story in the link below. We drove by their lot where there house was and you couldnt even tell a house was there. The dad/husband is still in critical condition.
