Recipe's For The Week Of 6/8/09
Some of the recipes for this week include:
Crock Pot Roast
*Ingredients*
-2 lb. roast (tender roast is the best. Yes, thats what its called) :)
-1 can mushroom soup
-1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
*Directions*
1. Spray the bottom of your crock pot.
2. Put in roast
3. Mix in a bowl: mushroom soup, and can of water
4. Pour soup mix over the roast
5. Pour mixture over the roast
6. Cook on low for 6-8 hours
5 Layer Chili:
*Ingredients*
1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can (16 oz) dark red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (15.5 oz) whole kernel corn
1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with zesty mild green chili's (rotel)
1 pkg. (1.25 oz) McCormick original Taco seasoning
1 pkg (1 oz) ranch salad dressing mix
3 cups hot cooked white rice
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
8 cups coarsely crushed taco tortilla chips
1 carton (8oz) sour cream
*Directions*
1. In 4 quart Dutch oven cook ground beef, and onion until brown. Drain fat. Stir in kidney beans, un-drained corn, black beans, undrained tomatoes, taco seasoning, salad dressing mix, and 1 cup water. Bring to boil; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
2. In 3 quart rectangular baking dish, layer rice, beef mixture, cheese, and tortilla chips. Dollop sour cream on top.
