Summer Fresh Strawberry Pie

Total Yummo! I must admit, I'm not much of a baker so I wanted to start with something easy this time and slowly progress. I started with an easy strawberry pie. The recipe is below. It looks so good and can't wait to taste it after it is finished chilling in the 'fridge.
1 ready-made pie crust, baked and cooled.
Glaze: 1 c. mashed berries, 1 C. sugar, 3 T. cornstarch, 1/2 C. water
Combine and cook ingredients over medium heat until mixture thickens and
boils, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Cool slightly.
Fill ready made pie crust with 3+ cups cleaned strawberries
Top strawberries with the glaze. Cool for 1 hour.
Top with whipped cream and extra strawberries
