Thrifty Thursday: Shhh!
"Shhh", thats what Jackson says when he hears we are going to the library. I think he's finally learned that in the library he has to be quiet. After the one time we got kicked out of it for being too loud (he was 2 years old and we have the most old fashioned library in the world with the most old fashioned librarians), I was a little hesitant to take him. But I think he's learned it.
On Thursdays, I'm going to blog about a way I was thrifty that day. We're trying to save as much as we can and every little bit helps. So, today, I was thrifty by going to the library instead of going to the zoo, or Science Center or somewhere exciting like that. Who said the library can't be exciting? Especially taking two kids (this is new for me remember) :) Jackson got some great books and he is so excited to read them.
(this isnt our library but it looked too fun not to post)

I so wish that picture was of the Springfield library! I,too, always found the librarians there to be quite rude and the story telling to be quite sad. It never stopped us from going, but frustrating to always leave disappointed. Thankfully, there is the joy of free! We did go to the Nashville library a few times for their story time ... Jackson would love it! It actually does look like the library in the picture :)
We love the library!!! They expect kids to be loud at our library, though. lol The kids' section is in the basement, far away from the adults. And they have a train table. ha!
That is one amazing looking library! Wow!
