Birthday's
There is alot of build up isn't there?
Especially when you are younger. The entire month or two before your birthday arrives, you are thinking of places to have your party, who to invite, what you want as gifts, etc. You even have a list of ideas for NEXT year (or maybe I was the only one who did that) :)
But, when you grow up, it's different. It's almost as if its just another day. I do have some great memories from the past few years. A couple of years ago, Joe took me to Chicago for my birthday. It was definitely fun! We spent 3 days shopping, eating out, going to museums, and sleeping late! Very fun!
This year, I have no idea what I want to do or what I want as my big gift. So, that's where I need you. I need your awesome ideas! When Joe asks what I want, where I want to go, or how I want to celebrate, I just answer with "I have no idea".
Ok, so bring them on! Give me your ideas...

We celebrate Birthday Festivals and they are fun for adults and kids alike. It is ABSOLUTELY my favorite tradition that we have.
I have a longer explanation on my blog.
