My adorable friend Sue takes time each Monday to count her blessings. To thank God and set time aside to write down and acknowledge how many "gifts" she's been blessed with. I'm always so encouraged by her spirit and wanted to join in this amazing experience.

So, this is my first week joining in and I'm really excited to list my "1000 gifts"

1. My ultimate Father. The Father who will never let me down. The Father who will always love me no matter what I do. The Father who shows me how to love.

2. A wonderful husband who makes me laugh, can pick my spirits up just like that, and even in the rough times, encourages me.

3. Two amazing sons that I cannot imagine life without. They are far beyond the word "awesome". They continue teach me so much.

4. My mom and sisters. We have been through alot together and they are the gals I look up to.

5. My favorite time of day -- dinner time. We all sit at the table together, the TV is off, and it's our time to chat and catch up from the day. Love that!

6. A comfortable, cozy in the winter, cool in the summer, home.

7. My friends. Yall know you who are. Too many to list out, but I'm blessed by each of you.

8. The ability to feed my babies. To know that when they are hungry, there will be food to provide.

9. Being able to stay home. So many moms can't, and I'm extremely blessed to spend that time with my children.

10. The simple things that we forget to say "thanks" for. Electricity, running water, ability to have clean laundry, a dishwasher, and the ammenities could go on.

Whoops, I signed up before reading. I meant to link up with Monday Madness, but after reading the post, I'm not so sure this is it! If I linked up with something besides Monday Madness just now, would you be so kind as to remove my link? Thanks so much! :)

What a wonderful first gratitude list! There is so much to be grateful for and writing it down definitely helps to see all that God has given us and so much more!

Have a great day!

Hey there Tennessee Girl! I'm so glad you've joined the gratitude community. I've been a part of it for a couple of months and it really has changed my perspective and made me more grateful all of the time!

Stop by and see me today and don't forget... tomorrow is the Summer Family Fun link up (it goes up late tonight). If you have anything for it... come link up again.

Do you find that the older you get, the easier you get tears? Life is so precious, and it is the little things that make is so! Thanks for sharing!

What a cute blog you have here. My favorite time of day is dinner time too :) Except I hate cleaning up after dinner.
I'm new here, it's great to meet you. Just became a follower.
