postheadericon Gratitude Community: #11-20

holy experience

I'm loving the spirit from this exercise. This is only my second week, but I've found so many other wonderful christian women through this and I love having documented all the things I've been blessed with. It definitely helps with not taking things for granted as much. I encourage each of you to take part in this. Simply amazing!

11. A sweet email from my good friend Sue.

12. Being able to enjoy music - the ability to hear, sing (although it may not always be beautiful), I know its pleasing to my god.

13. A sense of peace over the decision to Homeschool my oldest (who will start K this coming year). I never thought I'd be "there" homeschooling, but here I am.

14. A random call from my mom just to say "hi".

15. To live in a country where we can freely worship our Lord.

16.  Our two adopted neices and nephews. Broosk and Ansley are part of my sisters "clan" and were brought back from Uganda after their 6 year mission while living there. It's like they've always been a part of our family.

17. The CRAZY LOVE our father has given us and shown us. Why is it so hard for us to show that crazy love to someone else? I'm encouarged by this book and highly suggest it to everyone!

18. The random things my husband does to show me how much he cares and loves us. The "surprises" he brings home for me and the kids, the attention he gives us. He is the best!

19. Memories of a great growing up childhood. I know not everyone has those and I'm blessed to have great memories from the growing up years.

20. Friends from elementary school that I still keep in touch with. Its been fun to see how we've grown in distance but our friendship still stays the same. A few that come to mind are: Mary, Katie, Nicole, Ayesha, & Courtney. If you girls are reading this, thank you!

Beautiful! I loved Crazy Love. Now, I'm reading his other book "Forgotten God"... about the Holy Spirit. It's very stirring.

Praising Him with you for the blessings!

I just began as well! Loving it right along with you.

Delighted to meet you. HOpe you don't mind if I splash around a bit to get to know you. This looks like a refreshing place to slip off my shoes and take a dip in thankfulness.

Splashing,
Sara
