postheadericon It Was A Hit (And More To Come...)

So the Twitter Party tonight was a hit! I was amazed at all of those who came out and got crunk. Yes, I just said that (haha!)

For those of you who Homeschool or are curious about Homeschooling, you need to attend the next party! At these Twitter parties, you meet new people, win awesome prizes, and well, have fun! What could be better than a late night chat with all us crazy homeschooling families? Really- we do have a great time :)

New Leaf Publishing and I are teaming up together to bring you an awesome homeschool Twitter party once a month! Each month we'll have a theme directed towards you, your children, and family. You'll find many prizes being handed out at each party so make sure you join in on the fun! There is definitely something for everyone (all ages)!

Our Twitter party tonight had over 40 people attending and over 780 uses of the hashtag #charlietrike AWESOME work folks! I had such a blast and hope everyone else did too! (The singing of "Deep and Wide" was a favorite of mine) :)

We discussed the Grand Canyon and Charlie & Trikes adventure through it. Lots of prizes were handed out to families with children ages 4-8. Have a child older than 4-8? Then catch the next Twitter party - its for all ages!

So, I know you're asking what is the theme for the next Twitter party? Zoo & Animal Life. There will be several reviews from other homeschool bloggers about the book The Complete Zoo Adventure between now and when the next party happens. Be on the lookout for those! (I'll be one of them reviewing this amazing book).

A little more about this book.....

A family or class trip to the zoo becomes an unforgettable learning adventure with this unique, evolution-free guide to the incredible world of animals!
Did you know:

  • That the flamingo’s pink color comes from the food that it eats?

  • That the hummingbird’s heart beats 1,000 times per minute?

  • That the polar bear has a third eyelid that acts as “sunglasses” to protect it from snow blindness?

  • The Complete Zoo Adventure sets the stage for learning with “Before the Zoo” preparations, gives you the tools you need for an awesome “At the Zoo” experience, and then continues to deepen the understanding of God’s Creation with fabulous “After the Zoo” activities. Truly a complete guide like no other!
    PLUS
