Now, I know everyone is so anxious to know what the prize packages look like...so here they are!
Grand prize - one of each book above and Noah's Ark: Thinking Outside the Box for the parents
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We were blessed by Master Books/New Leaf Publishing to review another one of their awesome books...The True Story Of Noah's Ark.
We received our book today (10/7/10) and couldn't wait to read it. So we pulled in the driveway, I put my 1 year old to sleep for his nap, and my 4.5 year old and I sat down to read about Noah. HE LOVED IT!
The book is outstanding. I am still amazed at the illustrations and how well put they have this book made. It has alot of information about Noah, his sons, the flood, the ark that lots of other books don't include.
My favorite part of the book was the last 4 pages where it explained in more detail just how long the flood was, how much water it was, and all the details of the ark. Very interesting and honestly something I didn't know as much about until after reading this book.
We had a great time reviewing this book and learning more about Noah and the Great Flood! Thank you Master Books for sending it to us. We're anxious to share this book and more with you at our Twitter party on the 26th of this month at 8pm CST. Don't forget to be following @meghantucker , @jenniferowhite , and @masterbooks4u as well as use the hashtag #masterbook to join in.
--Also check out reviews from Ashley and Stephanie. They will be doing reviews for each party as well.
As you can tell, he was very into this book - at first I thought it might be a little too advanced for his age because of some of the wording, but sure enough, he understood it. When we got to words he didn't know, we talked about what they meant. Definitely a great book for ages 4-10 (even adults!)
No, he's not asleep in this picture, the camera just caught him the moment he blinked :) Don't worry this book is far from boring. It won't put you (or your child) to sleep! :)
